On this half-day trip Gordana will share all the best photo spots for views of Abbaye de Senanque and scenic Gordes and will offer specific suggestions for seeing the lovely spring at Fontaine de Vaucluse and the incredible perched village of Roussillon. Special stops at lavender fields (during blooming season only/ mid-June to end of July) and at the Gordes market (Tuesday mornings) or Roussillon market (Thursday mornings).

Tour 3 The story of Pont du Gard

On the drive from Avignon to Nîmes you will learn about Provence and Roman history in the area. At Nîmes there will be photo stops at Jardin de la Fontaine, Maison Carrée, and the Amphitheatre. After getting to know charming médiéval Uzès, we will visit the incredible Roman aqueduct at Pont du Gard. Here you can take in the view from the belvedere or even take a walk across the river right next to the 2000 year old structure. Incredible!

There’s nothing better - wine and history! Wine tasting in legendary Châteauneuf du Pape and a late afternoon visit to the world-famous aqueduct Pont du Gard. This tour features a delicious diversity of wines and terroir at two amazing wineries. The aqueduct is beautiful in the afternoon light.
